Georgia State Route 243

State Route 243 is a north–south state route located in the central part of the U.S. state of Georgia. From the route's southern terminus at State Route 18 in Gordon, the route travels northeast. Southwest of Milledgeville at the route's intersection with U.S. Route 441, the route becomes cosigned with U.S. Route 441 Business, and the two routes travel north into downtown Milledgeville. Shortly after intersecting State Route 49, U.S. Route 441 Business/State Route 243 intersect State Route 22/State Route 24, where State Route 243 meets its northern terminus. U.S. Route 441 Business continues north.
